We have a responsibility as Beneficiaries of the benefits of grace in Christ. Lord Jesus said: “v31When the Son of Man comes …………….v40 The King will reply, ’Truly, I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ ………v45"Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’"….” (Mathew 25:31-45)
When He said brothers and sisters of mine, He is referring to:
- His fellow Israelites for His heritage through Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

When He said brothers and sisters of mine, He is referring to:

- All believers in Jesus – the apostles, the disciples and all of us who belonged to the body of Christ, who are spiritual Israelites by grace.
- All humanity, the gentile unbelievers and sinners like us all, as His human lineage is traced back to:
Ø Bathsheba, (Mathew 1:6) Uriah’s wife who committed adultery with David (2 Samuel 11)
Ø Ruth, (Mathew 1:5) a Moabite (Gentile) worshipper of idols, but decided to worship the God of Naomi her mother-in-law (Ruth 1:16)
Ø Rahab, (Mathew 1:5) a gentile prostitute who helped the spies of Joshua in Jericho (Joshua 2:1)
Ø Tamar, (Mathew 1:3) a Canaanite woman who posed as prostitute to seduce Judah, her father-in-law (Genesis 38:13-30)
