Christ Jesus our Lord is the reason of this joyful season. For this day in Bethlehem a child is born. His is Emmanuel, God with us! He came to be with us, so that we can be with Him, forever.

Daily Reflections for the Day:

“He who finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor from the Lord.”‭‭

Proverbs‬ ‭18:22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This passage is pointing to that lonely moment in the garden, when Adam was alone and searching... “Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.” Now out of the ground the Lord God had formed every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name. The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper fit for him. So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. Then the man said, “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” ‭‭(Genesis‬ ‭2:18-23‬ ‭ESV‬‬)

Man and woman are not complete by themselves alone. The rib has to be reunited with the source. When man finds a wife, he finds a part of him. She is a blessing from the Lord. The two becomes one. Such a blessing to be grateful for, specially in times of thanksgiving - this day of celebration! 

Yes, man or woman finds, as they search each other's part. By His favor, God "brings her to the man."

Our Lord Jesus Christ is risen!

And, we are raised together with Him. We are seated with Him!

His holy and written WORD declares-

“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:4-7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Now, as we received Him in our hearts by believing, we are positioned for a victorious life. Every battle we take is already won, in Him. We are now fighting in a Fixed Battle! We see our victorious end from the start. With Jesus in our life, we are fighting from victory, not for victory.

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?”
