Proverbs 13:23 When God Says...I Say, AMEN!

When God says...

"Much food is in the fallow ground of the poor, And for lack of justice there is waste." (Proverbs 13:23 NKJV)

He gives us a great revelation, the poor is not actually in lack. He has much resource, as everyone else. When God brought us into this world, He equipped us with the right tools and supplied us with good provisions. Before Adam and Eve were created, all the good things they needed have already been made available. For all that He created, scriptures declare - "And God saw that it was good." (Genesis 1:3-31)

Yes, there is much food in each of everybody's "ground" allotted to each one who sets foot on this earth. But, the problem with the poor, his ground is fallow, dormant, neglected, unplowed, uncultivated and unsown. There is waste due to indiscretion and injustice. For absence of wise judgment and diligence, the land is mismanaged. Bad stewardship robbed the land out of its fruit. God's words promised: "He who tills his land shall be satisfied with bread," (Proverbs 12:11a AMP)

We are to steward and plow the land He gave us for our portion, be it in the form of energy, health, service, profession, calling, work, business or investment. All these ought to be consecrated to God through faith in Jesus Christ. As we enter to rest in His grace, our need shall be met, as it is written: "And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19 ESV)

And I say, AMEN!
