Graduation 2013

Dear Young Graduates:

Congratulations! 

May God surround you with favors and breakthroughs as you now step into the next phase of your lives. We are praying for your continued success. There’re so much responsibilities riding on your journey, as your family join with you in your pursuit for the highest peak to climb. Know that God is with you. He'll guide you.

You are now equipped to move mountains as you build the realities of your lives and dreams. Please use your Diploma for noble gain. Always remember that all we have - all that you have are from God. In everything you do, put God first in the order of your priorities. What that means - is keep constant contact with God in prayers. Read the Holy Bible every day. Thank God for what you have and trust God for what you need. Obey God's commands. 

In stewardship of blessings that God gives, especially as you now employ and find a job - in your finances follow this formula: 

* First - 10% give to God (How? Give to missions of the Gospel of Jesus, to churches who care for the poor and to those who are in need whom God puts in your proximity specially those who are in no way able to help themselves like orphans, widows and strangers). Our giving invites God to get involved in all aspects of our resources. This is your heavenly investment.

* Next - 10% of your income set aside for savings. This you can use as seed for earthly investment.

* The remaining 80% - live with it. Help your parents & families.

Give God control over your lives. Accept our Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Believe in your heart that He died for you and all of us, was buried and rose from the dead so we all shall live. Read Romans chapter 10:8-13. Meditate on it. Pray to the Holy Spirit for wisdom to help you understand the core of living in the Kingdom of God. Cross the line of faith. Trust God completely. The Lord will be with you always. The most precious thing we asked of you: Allow our Lord Jesus Christ to be the Lord, Master and Ruler of your life. The resources your parents and guardians used for your schooling is God's. Your parents and guardians are just the good stewards of it. Now use your Degree for God's glory. You are set free from the rigmarole of learning. You now belong in the club of the learned.

You need God's continued direction as you step into the employment world. Competition is stiff. There are many confusing diversions. You need God's wisdom which road to take that will bring you success and prosperity. Just remember to call our Heavenly Father in Jesus name when you need help. He promised He'll answer. We your elders have been there and still are, and we depend only in God's help in all we do. God never fails. He is able. He is faithful.

As regards those who are following your steps in the halls of universities and colleges, we hope and pray they’ll appreciate (as you undoubtedly have) the rare access they have to be able to get a good education. The opportunity for higher learning happens only to just a few. It's a one-in-a-million opportunity. One is blessed to have it. We hope that they’ll take it seriously and do their best to trace the steps you have just marked. Follow the things their Professors direct them to do. And most of all, respond to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Their future is secure, like yours now.

Again, congratulations!

Know that your family share in your celebrations for your harvests. Our hearts are filled with great joy. We pray for your successful graduation rites. We send you off on your way with prayers and trust in God's abundant overflows of blessings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Jesus Lives

Dear Loved Ones, Brethren and Friends,

Happy Easter!

This is a great day to rejoice. 

Forevermore, everyday let's rejoice.

This day, 1980 years ago, Jesus has risen (Luke 24:6). 

With Him and in Him we too will rise.  

He is alive.  So, we too will live with Him (John 14:19).

Let’s welcome Him into our lives, into hearts.

The grave could not contain Him. 

The stone was rolled away (Luke 24:2).  

Not to let Him out – it has no power over Him. 

The stone was rolled away - to let us in, into His victory over death.

His resurrection brings great significance to our lives – our lives here and eternal. 

Let’s believe in the power of His glorious resurrection (John 11:25).  

Our Lord’s resurrection sealed His assurance that our LAST BREATH ON EARTH WILL BE OUR FIRST BREATH IN HEAVEN.

2013: Reflections on a New Season

Dear Loved Ones, Brethren and Friends,

Happy New Year to your all!

Here we are at the brink of time. Poised to step into a new season.  A fresh start of hope. It is exciting as we view God’s abundant promises for 2013.

Eager to leap to the New Year, one can’t help but look back in gratitude for God’s faithfulness with His grace and mercy. He walked with us through those dark valleys, lifted us up when we stumbled and carried us when strength was failing. Yes, 2012 was rough and filled with challenges. But God helped us through.

Now we face a new season. Thankful that God established the cycle of seasons from the time begun. Where one can re-set and re-boot. Start new beginnings. Mindful of Apostle Paul’s declaration: “…forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,  I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14 (NKJV)

Convinced and trusting fully the promise of our Lord Jesus Christ – “And surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matt. 28:18b-20 NIV)

We are not alone then in 2012. We are not alone in 2013 and forevermore.

What Christmas Is All About?

DEAR LOVED ONES, FRIENDS AND PFC BRETHREN,

WHAT CHRISTMAS IS ALL ABOUT? For me...

CHRISTMAS IS THE JOYOUS AFFIRMATION OF THE TIME WHEN DIVINITY ENTERS HUMANITY.  

HEAVEN KISSED EARTH, AS THE CREATOR STEPPED DOWN INTO THE REALM OF HIS CREATION.

HE BECAME LIKE US THAT WE MAY BECOME LIKE HIM.

“The Word became flesh and blood,
    and moved into the neighborhood.
We saw the glory with our own eyes,
    the one-of-a-kind glory,
    like Father, like Son,
Generous inside and out,
    true from start to finish.” John 1:14 (The Message)

WHEN OUR HEAVENLY FATHER’S ONLY SON LAY IN THE MANGER, LOVE ENGULFS THE WORLD.

HIS POWER SHIVERS THE ENEMY.

HIS SPIRIT TOUCHES OUR SOULS.

HIS LOVE SUSTAINS.

“For to us a Child is born,
    to us a Son is given,
    and the government will be on His shoulders. 

And He will be called

    Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”  Isaiah 9:6 (NIV)

“…and they will name Him Immanuel," which means, "God with us." Mathew 1:23 (King James)

Happy Resurrection Day!

Dearest Loved Ones, Brethren and Friends,

It's a glorious day. Jesus is Alive!

The pain, the agony, the shame, the suffering. He overcome by love.

His love for us.

Let's glorify Him. Honor Him. Surrender ourselves to Him.

He saved us. He redeemed us by His innocent blood. We are His.

Through the cross He purchased us. He has taken our place.

Isaiah 53: 3-6 sums it up:

3 He was despised and rejected by men,

a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.

Like one from whom men hide their faces

he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

4 Surely he took up our infirmities

and carried our sorrows,

yet we considered him stricken by God,

smitten by him, and afflicted.

4 But he was pierced for our transgressions,

he was crushed for our iniquities;

the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,

and by his wounds we are healed.

6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,

each of us has turned to his own way;

and the Lord has laid no him

the iniquity of us all.

He was forsaken. We are accepted.

He was condemned. We are forgiven.

Now we are free. We are released by the power of His Blood and His grace.

Let's walk in-step with His Spirit. The Holy Spirit.

He restores unto us the joy of His Salvation.

Happy New Year!

Yes, let’s declare 2012 a Happy New Year in the name of Jesus our Lord. It is full of God’s abundant promises.

As we now stand on the brink of time – time of change from an old season to a new season, let’s be ready to leap out of a tough year into a year of breakthroughs and prosperity. A line will be crossed – let’s cross the line of faith in God’s exceeding provisions.

Let us position ourselves to receive God’s blessings and favors in the coming season.

We say Amen to His Holy and Written Word.

When He says –

“The God of Heaven will give us Success” (Nehemiah 2:20) .

We say, Amen

When He says:

“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”(Jeremiah 29:11)

We say: Amen

When He Says:

“Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.” Joshua 1:7)

We say: Amen

When He Says:

“Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9)

We say: Amen

When He Says:

"Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Be strong and courageous. This is what the LORD will do (for you) to all the enemies you are going to fight.” (Joshua 10:25)

When He Says:

“I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.” (3 John 1:2)

When He Says:

“He has protected us and handed over to us the forces that came against us.” (1 Samuel 30:23)

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)

The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah (Psalm 46:11)

Greetings in the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Another change of season to step into another year of abundant favours in the presence of our Heavenly Father as we continue to serve in strength and power in our Partnership for Christ.

As we celebrate a year of blessings and victories in the year that passed, let's be in the environment of pure and untainted worship. Let the name of Jesus - the Name above all Names be lifted up. It's all about Jesus.

Worship is power. Pure Worship is the Divine Cross Road where we in our fleshly and imperfect heart washed by the spring of living water of the Holy Word of God, cleansed by the blood of the Lamb, communes with the Holy and Perfect Heart of the Almighty through the presence of the Holy Spirit in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Yield to Jesus

Consciously Yield to our Lord’s Sovereignty

As we meditate upon our gospel for this anniversary celebration – it is fitting to establish some core truths.

God is sovereign

Man is not

Life is dependent upon our Lord Jesus Christ

John trusted in these truths when he yielded to Jesus as he declared in John 3: 30 “He must increase; but I must decrease [NKJV]”. He knows the Lord. He was sent to prepare for His coming. He met Him when he baptized our Lord at the river Jordan. He made a conscious decision. He yielded to our Lord’s pre-eminence in his life.

That is the message I got from this verse today. I must yield totally to our Lord Jesus Christ – as John did.

I have to recognize that God is sovereign. He depends on no-one. He is The Beginning and The End – The Alpha and The Omega.
None existed before Him and None after Him. He is the Ultimate. The Perfect One.. He is the Peace.. The Provider.. The Source.. The Creator. The Giver of Life. He sees the end from the beginning. He is the King. The Redeemer. The Savior - my Savior. He purchased me by His blood. He is my Lord. He owns me. He is Jesus our Lord.

I have to realize that as man, I am not sovereign. I am limited. Temporal. I am weak. I am susceptible to go a stray. I commit mistakes. Sin entices me. I can slip off my feet. I envy. Jealousy creeps in me. I wear out. I fall. I fall short from His glory. I am imperfect.

I encountered the Lord. He met me where I'm at - even in my imperfection. In my sinfulness He welcomed me. He cleansed me by His blood. He Loved me much.

I have to accept Him. I need Him. My life is nothing without Him. He is my life. I depend on Him. He has to have sovereignty of my life. I must consciously yield to His Kingship. I must live and abide by the system of His Kingdom. My victory is in Him. He has already accomplished all I need to overcome.

He is my perfection. He is my righteousness. He is my justification. I being imperfect – must dwell in the shadow of Him who is Perfect. I must hang out with and in Him – be partner with the Holy One of Israel, my Jesus and my Lord.

"That's why my cup is running over. This is the assigned moment for Him to move into the center, while I slip off to the sidelines. John 3:30 [The Message]
