Proverbs 3:9-10 When God Says...I Say, AMEN!

When God says...

"Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the first fruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.” (Proverbs 3:9, 10 NKJV).

He calls us to action. Our possessions are for honoring God. With trust and faith, we are to give the first and best to God, be fair, give generously and grateful for all that He gives. The result of such faithfulness to honor Him is prosperity and satisfaction.

Honoring the Lord goes beyond the church walls by living what we believe. Our heart is where our pocket book and time is. When we consecrate our time, talent, treasure and touch to God, it provides harvest of plenty, overflowing our barns and vats with wine. Lord Jesus assures us with this promise: "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again." (Luke 6:38 KJV)

Our prosperity is in giving. Give to God the first and the best, as it is written "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it]." (Malachi 3:10 KJV)

And I say, AMEN!
