Proverbs 4:6 When God Says...I Say, AMEN!

When God says...

"Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; Love her, and she will keep you." (Proverbs 4:6 NKJV)

He urges us to be passionate for wisdom, 'her'. Personified as female whom men are to love, we are to love wisdom, which underscores keeping that love for her at all cost. As man is to love his wife, as Christ love the Church, that's how our zeal for wisdom must be. 

Wisdom will keep and preserve us. First and foremost, we seek God and pursue wisdom. It is written: "The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. (Proverbs 4:7 NIV)

And I say, AMEN!
