Proverbs 13:16 When God Says...I Say, AMEN!

When God says...

"Every prudent man acts with knowledge, But a fool lays open his folly." (Proverbs 13:16 NKJV)

He is urging us to behave in a well-thought prayerful manner, like a prudent man, in dealing with all aspects of our life's affairs. That is in our vertical relationship with God and horizontal relationship with the people around us (like our family, fellow believers, friends, co-workers, business associates and everyone in our proximity). We ought not to behave like a fool, who flaunts caring no one in what he does. And, who stands proud doing his worst - that is destroying his life and whoever he gets hold to drag with. For him, whether his follies are mindless or premeditated doesn't matter. He is a fool! His habit and body language exposé him.

As believers in Christ, when we accept His Lordship in our life, we are to be prudent and wise in dealing with fools. Most of all, we ought not to mimic their ways. Fools will reap the bad fruits of their evil intentions in a 'boomerang effect', like what happened to Hamman in the book of Esther, as it is written: "So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king's wrath was pacified. (Esther 7:10 AMP)

Let's be careful and sow only good like a prudent man does. The scripture warns: "Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. (Galatians 6:7 ESV)

And I say, AMEN!
