Proverbs 13:2-3 When God Says...I Say, AMEN!

When God says...

"A man shall eat well by the fruit of his mouth, But the soul of the unfaithful feeds on violence. He who guards his mouth preserves his life, But he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction." (Proverbs 13:2, 3 NKJV)

We are to keep our mouth an open valve of blessings, by pronouncements of faith. Pessimistic and doubtful words can plug the flow of God's favors our way. Often, our negative words hinder our momentum to prosper. The words that our mouth speaks are powerful. It can change a person's destiny, even the course of nation's future.

We will reap well the result of our mouth's firm and unshakable utterance of God's promises. We are warned to guard our mouth. It has power to justify or condemn. Lord Jesus said: "The good person out of his good treasure brings forth good and the evil person out of his evil treasure brings forth evil. I tell you, on the day of judgment, people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” (Matthew 12:35-37 ESV)

Let's fill our hearts with The Words of life! It is written: "So Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you want to go away as well?” Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God." (John 6:67-69 ESV)

And I say, AMEN!
