When God says...
“He who answers a matter before he hears it, It is folly and shame to him.” (Proverbs 18:13 NKJV)
He gives a handful of lessons to be learned meditating and reflecting on this passage:
* It is arrogant to answer before you hear the full statement.
* It is rude to answer and interrupt a question.
* Responding without listening makes one a fool.
* A mouth not in tandem with ears that listen makes a stupid person.
* God provided every person a pair of ears and a mouth for a reason.
* Not responding before you hear it all, honors and respects the person you are having a conversation with.
So, for the children of God by grace through faith in Christ Jesus, Apostle Paul reminds: “Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.” (Philippians 2:3-5 NLT)
And I say, AMEN!

(When God says... I say, AMEN! is a provocative reflection of the Lord's holy Word. It intends to challenge every seeker of truth to dig deep into the core of the Word of Life to point every being to Christ Jesus - the author and finisher of our faith, and to draw revelations for change, for nourishment and for strength of every soul.)
