Proverbs 30:11-14 When God Says...I Say, AMEN!

When God Says …

“There is a generation that curseth their father, And doth not bless their mother. There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, And yet is not washed from their filthiness. There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! And their eyelids are lifted up. There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, To devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.” (Proverbs 30:11-14 KJV)

These are the signs of a wicked generation. These symptoms are now appearing intensely on the face of this world. These evil traits that flourish in this fallen world are now very profound. And, the sad reality is we have to deal with them. Yes, we are instructed to avoid them, but as long as we are in the world, Apostle Paul gave us this caution-“I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people— not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world.”(1 Corinthians 5:9-10 NIV)

In Christ Jesus our Lord by His grace through faith in Him, as we are still in this earthly realm, we are ordained face it. It is written: “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” (Romans 12:18 NIV)

We are warned this day is coming, and now is here, running amok with cancel cultures and subjugation of the lives of the innocent and the needy with utter disregard of God's authority. It is written: “But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth.” (2 Timothy 3:1-7 ESV)

But, we have nothing to worry at all! As we continue to hear and follow Him, the Lord Jesus who saved us by grace through faith in Him gave us this assurance: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.” (John 10:27-28 ESV)

And I say, AMEN!
