Dear Family, Loved Ones, PFC Brethren and Friends;
We declare a blessed Christmas to you all!
May our convergence to celebrate and remember the entrance of our Savior into this world, won’t drag us deep in the maze of fleeting merrymaking and forget the essence of His coming.
The King of Kings stepped down from the majesty of heaven, wrapped in human flesh, to move into our neighborhood. He wants to be with us. He came as a baby born in a manger trough, witnessed by lowly shepherds from the fields and worshipped by wisemen from the east. He came not because the world is perfect. He came to give us light because the world is broken and is in darkness. It still is. Sadly, He was rejected by His own who He came to save. They hung Him on a cross and delivered Him to a sealed and guarded tomb.
But in glory, on the Third day He began to breath and arose from the grave. The King of glory, Christ Jesus our Lord is alive! And He lives in each and every one of us who rests in His finished work on the cross. Because He died and rose again, we can be born again by faith in Him. Now, in Him we can live forevermore!
It is indeed fitting for us to celebrate! He came, over Two Thousand years ago, full of grace and truth. Yes, He came so that when we believe in Him, He can declare: “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10b ESV).
And we say, AMEN!!!
