When God says...
“Folly is joy to him who is destitute of discernment, But a man of understanding walks uprightly.” (Proverbs 15:21 NKJV)
He exposes a prominent attribute of a fool. He is one who takes pleasure in temptations. One who takes mindlessly all baits dangled before him, and swallows it greedily without dread of the hook. He enjoys in his follies. With heart bereft of conviction, he does not care whose life he wrecks in the process, especially his.
That is not the way of the upright, whose trust is in The Lord. As believers in Jesus, we are to walk wisely with purpose as Apostle Paul exhorts in these words: "Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil." (Ephesians 5:15, 16 AMP)
And I say, AMEN!
