“All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.” (Luke 10:22 KJV).
This passage viewed through the lens of divine revelation, explains the exclusive relationship between Father and Son, and the Lord Jesus' role as the Revealer of God's love and grace, not a harsh judge. It affirms that knowing the Lord Jesus isn't through knowledge obtained by human effort but by faith in the Son revealing the Father. It is about the Gospel to receive God's unmerited favor in the Lord 's finished work, not by legalistic effort to observe the law. We look to grace by faith in Christ Jesus, not to the law by trying hard to fulfill it, as religion teaches to deceive many.
Seeing the Lord Jesus as the Word (John 1:1) - through grace, not law, brings tangible blessings of healing, peace and prosperity in our life. Most importantly, we gain spiritual transformation, as it changes our focus from our self performance to total dependence on His provision of grace. The Lord Jesus came to reveal the Father in Himself, being the Father’s exact representation. You and I who believe in Christ Jesus, are declared children of our Heavenly Father. Now we know Him for He is revealed to us in Christ Jesus our Savior.
This the Scriptures attest, as it is written: “Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,” (Hebrews 1:1-3 ESV).
And I say, AMEN!
