The Gospel of John 12:44-45 When God Says...I Say, AMEN!

When God Says …

“Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.” (John 12:44-45 KJV).

With these declarations, the Lord Jesus Christ revealed plainly to the religious Jews, to all others who came to see Him and Lazarus, and to us too, now, reflecting on these passages, that He is God incarnate (John 1:14; Philippians 2:6-8)). He, who came in the flesh was seen by the eyes of mortal men and women, of sinners and saints, even by those who did not believe. When we believe on Him, we believe not only on Him who over two thousand years was physically seen, but on Him who is in Spirit that our carnal eyes can't see. Yes, believing on Christ Jesus, is believing on Him who is coming soon, who is the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. (Revelation 22:12-13 NIV).

This is such a profound revelation for us all to know that God Almighty, the Creator and Designer of the universe, moved to our close proximity to be with us and to save us. The Message Bible version puts it this way: “The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood. We saw the glory with our own eyes, the one-of-a-kind glory, like Father, like Son, Generous inside and out, true from start to finish.” (John 1:14 MSG). And all He is asking you and I to do is to believe as He Himself assuredly proclaimed when asked by the religious Jews what to do: “Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”” (John 6:29 ESV).

And I say, AMEN!
