The Gospel of Luke 6:43-45 When God Says...I Say, AMEN!

When God Says …

“For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” Luke 6:43-45 KJV).

Religion and philosophy teach that: actions speak louder than words. Sounds good to hear. But, God's truth doesn't say that. That's the deception of the enemy of our soul who uses religions and the wise Alecs of the world to captivate many. That’s the corrupt fruit! It’s not your action that bears power. The Lord Jesus said: “For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”” (Matthew 12:37 NIV). It’s your words! That’s how God wired us all, having been created in His image. We all begin with God by His Words of declaration, as it is written: “In the beginning God” (Genesis 1:1a).

Then, God speaks the Words. It is written: “And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.” (Genesis 1:3 NIV). He speaks all creation into existence from nothing (Genesis 1:4-25). And, then He formed man in His image and likeness (Genesis 1:26) that when we speak the promises of God that we receive in our hearts it comes to pass bearing fruits in our lives. The blessings that we speak are the blessings that we possess. And, all blessings only come from God who is our source, those we gather seeking through His holy and written Words. If we seek from sources other than the Lord Jesus Christ and His words, those are not from God.

Hence, we are called to meditate (Hagah in Hebrew, meaning to "mutter") His words (Joshua 1:8). In so doing, we store His words in our hearts. Like what we are doing in these reflections. We don't just read it, especially the quoted Words of Scriptures. We must mutter it to release the fruit of abundance from our hearts through our mouth. It is therefore important not to use our mouth to negate God’s blessings. There are many who are brainwashed by religion who pray for healing then, thereafter they complain and claims to own their illness saying : "I have this and that." No, you don't own it and don't have it! It's an intruder to your body! Cast it out and claim healing in the name of Christ Jesus, then act as if you're healed. Don't acknowledge its presence! This truth that the Lord Jesus reveals to us we must apply in our day to day and moment to moment living. "Hagah"/mutter your wholeness, by: Firstly, intensifying your meditation (hagah/mutter) of His Words for storing in our hearts and then; Secondly, bring the fruit by declaring His Words in our lives and others, the fruit of our lips that brings glory to God our Father.

As children of God by His grace through our faith in Christ Jesus, we are therefore reminded, that: “Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.” (Hebrews 13:15 ESV).

And I say, AMEN!
