The Gospel of John 9:34 When God Says...I Say, AMEN!

When God Says …

“They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.” (John 9:34 KJV)

These repetitive attempts by the Pharisees, Priests and Scribes to debunk the miracles performed by the Lord Jesus Christ for their benefit are backfiring bigly on them. With the former blind man's sincere responses, in a tone of sarcasm, reveal the true colors of these religious men. They're indeed hypocrites in their on right. Their verbal exchange with the unlearned healed blind man exposed this truth. They claimed not to know where Jesus was from; the healed man said Jesus' miracles speak loudly enough of who He is (John 9:25). The scribes and Pharisees claimed Jesus was a "sinner;" the healed man pointed out that a "sinner" wouldn't have access to God's power (John 9:30–31).

Hence, running out of munition for a legit debate, they resort to personal holier-than-thou attack. They're using the same insults they hurled to question the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ (John 8:41). In response to this poor once-blind, but healed man's declaration of truth (John 8:32-33), they condemned him with arrogance. “To this they replied, “You were steeped in sins at birth; how dare you lecture us!” And they threw him out.” (John 9:34 NIV).

That's the same hatred the Lord Jesus Christ warned us of for being His redeemed, and for being born again by faith in Him. But, resting in His grace trough faith in Him, we must endure to the end! The Lord Jesus warned us with assurance: “When they deliver you over, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour. For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. Brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death, and you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.” (Matthew 10:19-22 ESV).

And I say, AMEN!
